Wienerschnitzel Teams Up with Indianapolis 500 Driver for Second Year
Wienerschnitzel is excited to announce that it has partnered with American race car driver J.R. Hildebrand for the 2016 Indianapolis 500. During this second-year deal, Hildebrand will be rocking the “World’s Fastest Wiener” on his race gear, where he’ll drive the No. 6 car for Indianapolis-based Ed Carpenter Racing. This will be Hildebrand’s sixth Indy 500 start.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have Wienerschnitzel back supporting my efforts,” said Hildebrand. “Wienerschnitzel has been an incredible sponsor and their team is a ton of fun to work with. I love getting involved with the creative ideas they come up with to give back to the community.”
As part of its ongoing commitment to support the action sports community, Wienerschnitzel is continuing to partner with influential athletes who have a passion for philanthropy, such as Hildebrand. The Indy 500 is televised in over 200 countries, reaching over 344 million fans, and is the largest attended single-day sporting event in the world. The race will air live on Sunday, May 29, on ABC at 12:12 p.m. EST.
“We are extremely enthusiastic to continue building our relationship with J.R.” said Wienerschnitzel Chief Visionary Officer, Rico Ferrante. “His commitment to serving others in the community, along with his drive to never give up is why we want him to be a part of the WienerFam for a very long time. We wish him the best of luck in this year’s Indy 500!”
